Science resources for primary teachers and pupils aged 9 to 11 on the topic of Forces.

Forces topic starter

Where's the Science in that? The Park offers an exciting topic starter for eight key Science topics for 9 to 11 year olds. The resource demonstrates that science isn't just for scientists in a lab - it's for everyone and it's all around us, every day.

Pupils can explore the park to find examples of Forces in everyday life. There's also a video which introduces the topic and sets pupils an activity to try themselves.

Pupils can also write a diary entry from the point of view of Isaac Newton on the day he noticed the apple falling from the tree!
